About Us

Established in 1857, East Grinstead Cricket Club is one of the biggest clubs in the West Sussex area. We have a thriving adult and junior section, with currently seven adult teams as well as seven junior age groups.

Our teams play their home games across three sites. Our main Saint Hill Ground, Fonthill Ground and as of 2021 Hammerwood Cricket Ground.

Our 1st XI won the Sussex Premier League in 2017 as well winning the Sussex League T20 Cup in 2014 and 2018.

Over the years the club has produce professional county cricketers such as; Alex Edwards (Sussex, Derbyshire & Middlesex), Neil Turk (Sussex), Will Adkin (Sussex), Lewis Hatchett (Sussex), Fynn Hudson-Prentice (Sussex & Derbyshire*) and Toby Pettman (Nottinghamshire*).

We have also had the pleasure of having international overseas players such as; Saqlain Mushtaq (Pakistan), Vasbert Drakes (West Indies), Dinesh Mongia (India) and Alex Carey (Australia*).

We are an inclusive family community club and welcome cricketers of ages and abilities.
